“I was brought up in an art- and science- loving environment and I have been given a great opportunity to grow up to be both an orthodontist and an artist! I chose dentistry, which is a combination of art and science, and I fell in love with orthodontics, which is the science of facial harmony and esthetics. I went to dental school in my home country of Iran. In 2010, I immigrated to the United States to continue my education and pursue a new direction in my professional life.
I studied dentistry at my dream school, UCSF, followed by earning my certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science in kinesiology at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Soon after graduation I earned my board certification and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Over the past 15 years, I have provided excellent care for thousands of patients in multiple settings. I have also worked in public healthcare services for a few years; an experience that taught me much about public health, managing and communicating with patients and working under strict conditions.
The most precious and exciting aspect of orthodontics for me is bringing a smile to my patients’ faces, and knowing that my work had a meaningful impact on their lives. Orthodontics can be a fun and inspiring journey for our patients, and I love to be a part of such a life-changing experience on a daily basis.”
Alongside my education and work experience as a dentist and orthodontist, I have been following two different fields of art, music, and caricature, professionally. I have received international awards for my caricatures, and as a musician, I have had multiple performances of traditional Persian music across the US.
Throughout my journey, I have continuously strived to learn and gain more experience. I have consistently hoped to reach a level of excellence in all my endeavors so that I could contribute to the community to the best of my abilities as an orthodontist, as an artist, and more importantly, as a human.
I just wanted to share a quick note and let you know that you guys do a really good job. I’m glad I decided to make an appointment. It’s really great how easy my appointment went, I never have any concerns!
Doctors and staff were awesome! Getting in and out of my appointment was a breeze!
Going to the doctor isn't my priority. But when my wife said the staff is great, I decided to finally make an appointment. I'm glad I was able to see a doctor to get a checkup!
We greatly appreciate the staff here. They were patient in explaining what the procedures entailed and were able to help with our insurance questions.
